[ARCHIVED] Norfolk police investigate 30th homicide this year

Norfolk detectives are investigating this week’s second homicide, totaling 30 homicide investigations to date for 2015.

On December 14, 2015, police were called to the 900 block of Rugby Street shortly after 7:00 p.m. to check on the status of a man whose family members had not been able to contact. Upon searching the home, police discovered 51-year-old Andre Livingston dead with apparent injuries.

Norfolk police are classifying Mr. Livingston’s death as an active homicide investigation, but the exact cause of death will be determined by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
