Norfolk, VA - Police have arrested and charged a man accused of shooting another person yesterday afternoon.

Officers responded to the 2700 block of Granby Street shortly after 1:30 p.m. on December 15, 2015 for reports of a man being shot at the location. Medics transported a victim from the location to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with what appears to be a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

Shortly thereafter, police located a man matching the suspect's description and immediately took the man into custody.

Marcus D. Houston, a 25-year-old Norfolk resident, was incidentally charged in the shooting. Houston is being held without bond at the Norfolk City Jail after warrants were secured for malicious wounding and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
