[ARCHIVED] Two men shot: Detectives investigating to determine if both shootings are related

NORFOLK, Va. – Two men shot late Monday night prompts an investigation to determine if the shootings are related.

Shortly before 11:00 p.m., police were called to the 2600 block of Waverly Way for a report of a man who had been shot.

Once police arrived, they found the man inside a residence suffering from a gunshot wound. He was quickly taken by medics to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with a life threatening injury.

While officers were on-scene at Waverly Way, a man arrived at DePaul Hospital with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transferred to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, with what appears to be, at this time, non-life threatening injuries.
