Norfolk police continue to search for a man wanted in connection to an afternoon bank robbery.
Police have confirmed a man entered the Farm Fresh located at 730 W. 21st Street at 3:30 p.m. on January 22, 2016. The man, seen bundled in winter clothing, approached a clerk at the Chartway Federal Credit Union, which is located inside the Farm Fresh.
The man then demanded money from the Credit Union clerk. He fled from the area on foot after obtaining an undisclosed amount of money.
No injuries were reported during the incident.
The man has been described as a middle-aged black male with a dark beard. Police believe he is approximately 6’0” in height with a slender build. He was last seen wearing a tan beanie hat, navy blue hooded jacket, dark-colored pants and dark-colored gloves.
