NORFOLK, Va. – A man is recovering at the hospital today after he was reportedly robbed and shot Wednesday evening in the Lindenwood section of Norfolk.
Shortly before 6:45 Wednesday evening, police received a 9-1-1 call for a man who had been shot.
Once police arrived they found a 22-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound. Paramedics transported the man to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with a non-life threatening injury.
The man told police that while he was driving in the 700 block of Lindenwood Avenue, two unknown men approached his car and all three men began to argue.
During the verbal argument, the men took money from the man, and shot him before fleeing the area on foot.
Both suspects are described as black men in their late teens to early twenties.
