[ARCHIVED] Chanello’s delivery driver robbed and carjacked

NORFOLK, Va. – Three unknown men reportedly robbed and stole a Chanello’s pizza delivery driver’s car Tuesday evening while he was delivering a pizza.

Around 8:15 p.m., police were notified of a robbery and carjacking that just occurred to a Chanello’s pizza delivery driver near Mission Street and Henry Street.

The 20-year-old man told police that while he was delivering a pizza, three suspects approached him and displayed a gun. They demanded money, personal property and the man’s car keys.

All three suspects fled in the delivery diver’s 2-door Honda.

There were no injuries reported.

Shortly after 2 am Wednesday morning, police found the vehicle unoccupied in the 900 block of E. Princess Anne Road.

All three carjacking suspects are described as being in the late teens to early twenties were dark clothing.
