[ARCHIVED] Chanello’s delivery driver robbed and carjacked at gunpoint

NORFOLK, Va. – No injuries were reported in a robbery and carjacking of a Chanello’s delivery driver Tuesday evening.

Around 8:15 p.m., police were notified of a robbery and carjacking that just occurred to a Chanello’s pizza delivery driver near Mission Street and Henry Street.

The 20-year-old man told police that while he was delivering a pizza, three suspects approached him and displayed a gun. They demanded money, personal property and the man’s car keys.

All three suspects fled in the delivery driver’s 2-door Honda.

Shortly after 2 a.m. Wednesday morning, police found the Honda, unoccupied in the 900 block of E. Princess Anne Road.

All three carjacking suspects are described as being in their late teens to early twenties wearing dark clothing.
