NORFOLK, Va. – Norfolk Police needs the public’s assistance in tracking down a wanted violent felon.

24-year-old Ceason D. Moore Jr. is wanted for a shooting that occurred New Year’s day in the 1000 block of Hugo Street that left a man with serious injuries.

Moore, of the 800 block of Workwood Road, has active felony warrants for malicious wounding, attempted robbery, use of firearm in commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Moore should be considered armed and dangerous.

NORFOLK, Va. – Norfolk Police found a man shot multiple times on Hugo Street in the Norfolk Garden section of Norfolk late Friday night.

Shortly before 11:30 p.m. dispatchers received several calls from the 1000 block of Hugo Street for a report of a shooting. When police officers arrived they found a 36-year-old man lying in the street who had been shot.

Medics rushed him to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with serious injuries.
