NORFOLK, Va. – With the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force, NPD successfully arrested a wanted violent felon Thursday evening.
Ceason D. Moore Jr, 24, was arrested in connection with a New Year’s Day shooting that left a man with serious injuries.
Moore was wanted for malicious wounding, attempted robbery, use of firearm in commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
He was taken into custody without incident at 4:40 p.m. in the 9500 block of Atlans Street in Norfolk.

24-year-old Ceason D. Moore Jr. is wanted for a shooting that occurred New Year’s day in the 1000 block of Hugo Street that left a man with serious injuries.
Moore, of the 800 block of Workwood Road, has active felony warrants for malicious wounding, attempted robbery, use of firearm in commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Moore should be considered armed and dangerous.
