Norfolk, Va. - Detectives have developed a major lead in an active robbery investigation and are asking for the public's assistance in identifying the suspects.
On January 13, 2016, a man reported he was robbed in the 5600 block of Lowery Road. At 2:30 a.m., the victim stated a dark-colored Infinity sedan pulled up next to him. Two men exited the sedan and approached the victim, who was walking along the roadway.
One suspect brandished a handgun and both demanded the victim's property. Once the suspects were provided the victim's personal items, they fled from area in the vehicle.
The investigation has revealed the victim's bank card was used at a local ATM following the robbery. Photographs were obtained of the money withdraw and clearly show a possible suspect.
Police are asking for the public's assistance in identifying the suspect shown in the photos.
The suspects have been described as the following:
(1) Black male with a dark complexion and a heavy build, standing approximately 5'8" in height with facial hair and blue contact lenses, last seen wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt
(2) Black male with a light complexion, approximately 5'11" in height, with black hair and last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt
