NORFOLK, Va. – An armed purse snatcher is caught on video, and now police are seeking the public’s help in tracking him down.
Shortly before 4 p.m. on January 28th, police responded to an individual robbery in the 3700 block of Granby Street.
A 54-year-old woman told detectives that while she was unloading her vehicle a man ran up to her armed with a gun, and forcibly grabbed her purse from her hand. She was not injured during the incident.
The suspect is described as a black man, around 6-feet tall in his early twenties. He was last seen fleeing the area in an early 2000’s Acura MDX.
