[ARCHIVED] Chanello’s delivery driver robbed at gunpoint

NORFOLK, Va. – A Chanello’s delivery driver was robbed early Wednesday morning while delivering pizza.

Around 1:20 a.m., police were notified of a robbery that just occurred to the delivery driver in the 1400 block of Picadilly Street.

The 33-year-old man told police that while he was delivering a pizza, a man approached him displaying a handgun and demanded money and personal property.

The man fled on foot prior to police arrival.

There were no injuries reported.

The suspect is described as a black man, approximately six-feet tall and was wearing a black jacket with a hood and a red and white bandana covering his face.
