[ARCHIVED] Police searching for a vehicle involved in a fatal shooting on Kingston Avenue

NORFOLK, Va. – Police are searching for a car with heavy front end damage Saturday afternoon after detectives say it was involved in a deadly shooting.

The call came in just after 2 p.m. in the 1700 block of Kingston Avenue.

When police arrived they found a 38-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds inside his white minivan.

Paramedics rushed the man to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police are looking for a blue or grey small car with heavy front end damage. If anyone sees this vehicle, they are encouraged to contact 911 immediately. The occupants in the car should be considered armed and dangerous.
