NORFOLK, Va. – Detectives have arrested two men in connection with a deadly shooting on Saturday afternoon in Ocean View.
Shortly after 2 p.m. on March 5, 2016 police received several reports of gunshots heard in the 1700 block of Kingston Avenue.
When police arrived, they found Robert Reynold Knight III, 37, of Chester VA, inside a white minivan suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Knight was rushed to a local hospital, but later died from his injuries.
Detectives have arrested two men in connection with Knight’s death. Both men have been charged with second degree murder, attempted robbery, conspiracy to commit a robbery and use of a firearm in commission of a felony.
Elisha Hernandez, 22, of the 300 block of Warwick Landing Parkway in Newport News and Mondozer Masters, 35, of the 400 block of Seminole Road in Hampton are both currently in the Norfolk City Jail held with no bond.
