NORFOLK, Va. – Around 7:30 p.m. police responded to the 9300 block of Granby Street for a motor vehicle accident involving a SUV and a motorcycle.
A man on a motorcycle was traveling southbound on Granby Street when he was struck by a SUV traveling northbound. The driver of the SUV was attempting to make a left turn onto Tidewater Drive when he collided with the motorcycle.
The driver of the motorcycle was transported by paramedics to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Two southbound lanes and the left turn northbound lane on Granby Street are closed while the Fatality Team continues to investigate the accident.
