NORFOLK, Va. – Friday, April 8, 2016 around 7:30 p.m. police responded to the 9300 block of Granby Street for a motor vehicle accident involving a SUV and a motorcycle.
Michael Wyss, a 57-year-old man from Norfolk, was riding a motorcycle traveling southbound on Granby Street when he was struck by a SUV traveling northbound. The driver of the SUV was attempting to make a left turn onto Tidewater Drive when it collided with the motorcycle.
Wyss was transported by paramedics to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries early this morning.
