NORFOLK, Va. - Police have identified the victim in a Friday evening homicide.
31-year-old Deandre Raynor of Norfolk was shot and killed following a call for shots fired at the intersection of O'Keefe and Fremont Streets. Responding officers attempted to perform life saving measures on scene, but Raynor passed away after medics transported him to an area hospital.
There is no suspect description available for release at this time.

Previous Release 4/22/16:
NORFOLK, Va. - Shortly after 7:05 p.m. Friday evening, officers were on scene of a barricade situation in the 1300 block of Church Street, when they heard several gunshots in the area of O'Keefe and Fremont Street.
As the officers ran to that location, they found a man lying on the ground, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Officers immediately began life saving measures until paramedics arrived.
The man was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police have not released any suspect information at this time.
Once the next of kin notification process has been completed, the man's identity will be released.
