[ARCHIVED] Community assistance needed in commercial robberies

NORFOLK, Va. – Detectives with the Norfolk Police Robbery Section are searching for a man wanted in connection to two commercial robberies.

Both incidents occurred on April 12, 2016 within a 10 minute time span.

In the first incident, the man entered the Airport Quick Mart located at 2405 E. Little Creek Road at 9:42 p.m. He brandished a firearm and stole various items, including cash from the store before fleeing.

The second robbery occurred at 9:48 p.m., when the man entered the Tinee Giant at 7101 Sewell’s Point Road. He brandished a firearm and stole cash from the business before fleeing from the area.

During both robberies, the suspect was described as a black male, approximately 5’8”-5’11” in height, wearing a black hoodie, white undershirt, black bandana, blue jeans and white sneakers. In both cases, the man wore a WHITE glove on one hand and was armed with a silver handgun.
