[ARCHIVED] Commercial robbery suspect sought by police

NORFOLK, Va. – Norfolk Police Detectives are searching for a man wanted in connection to an armed commercial robbery that occurred on Saturday.

Shortly after 9:15 p.m., a man entered the Sunoco Gas Station at 4528 E. Princess Anne Road and brandished a firearm. The man stole cash from the register and various items before running away from the store.

Detectives describe the man as a black male with a light complexion, standing approximately 6’0” in height. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a unique t-shirt underneath. The t-shirt was described as being blue on the front and red on the back. He also wore dark jean shorts that extended below the knee, white socks, and black tennis shoes with white stripes at the bottom. During the robbery, the man’s head and face were covered with a white t-shirt.
