[ARCHIVED] An Ocean View convenience store is robbed in the early morning hours

NORFOLK, Va. – Around 5:30 a.m. police responded to the 7-Eleven at 909 East Ocean View Avenue for a commercial robbery.

According to detectives, a man entered the business and demanded money from the store employee. After the employee complied, the suspect fled the location on foot prior to police arrival.

He is described as a light skinned black man approximately 5-feet 8-inches tall, weighing around 220 pounds. He was last seen wearing a grey tee-shirt, black hooded jacket, blue jeans, and a black bandana.

There were no injuries reported.
