NORFOLK, Va. - Norfolk police have confirmed 67-year-old Clarence Edward McInnis has been safely located.
Early this morning, an officer with the Virginia Beach Police Department located Mr. McInnis in the City of Virginia Beach. The officer purchased Mr. McInnis breakfast before turning him over to Norfolk police. We'd like to thank the Virginia Beach Police Department for their assistance in his safe recovery and their kindness shown to a man in need.
After being turned over to the Norfolk Police Department, Mr. McInnis was transported to Sentara Leigh Memorial Hospital for precautionary evaluation. His family has been notified and he appears to be in good spirits.

NORFOLK, Va. – Norfolk police need your help locating a man who was reported missing around 5:15 p.m. Monday, June 13, 2016.
67-year-old Clarence Edward McInnis, also known as “Uncle Boot” was last seen around 1:20 p.m. yesterday afternoon in the 3100 block of Peronne Avenue.
McInnis, who has Alzheimer’s and suffers from seizures, is described as a bald black man with a short beard, standing approximately 5-foot 2-inches tall and weighing around 115 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt, grey jeans and black shoes.
