[ARCHIVED] Missing mother and daughter found safe

NORFOLK, Va. - Detectives say a missing mother and daughter have been successfully located, safe and sound!

On June 10, 2016, Norfolk police released photos of 27-year-old Amanda Jackson and her 3-year-old daughter, Lilly. Amanda had failed to report for duty with the United States Navy and a missing person's report was filed.

On June 14, 2016, detectives announced the pair had been located, unharmed.

Norfolk police would like to thank everyone that contacted Crime Line or reported possible sitings of the Jacksons. Your help was instrumental in locating the mother and daughter safely.

NORFOLK, Va. – Police are looking for a mother and daughter who have been missing since last week.

27-year-old Amanda Christine Jackson, and her 3-year-old daughter Lilly Madison Jackson, have been missing since Thursday, June 2, 2016. Amanda is currently employed with the United Stated Navy, however, she failed to report to work on June 3, 2016 and is listed as absent without leave (AWOL).

Amanda currently resides in the 4600 block of Mayflower Road in Norfolk. She may be traveling in a 2015 4-door Nissan Versa with Virginia tags of VGE2736.

At this time, it appears they are not in any apparent danger; however, detectives ask for anyone with information about their whereabouts, to contact the Norfolk Crime Line at either:
