[ARCHIVED] Three people injured in a shooting on Military Highway

NORFOLK, Va. - Three people have been injured in a Tuesday morning shooting on North Military Highway.

Dispatchers were notified of shots heard in the area just after midnight.

Police arrived to the 400 block of North Military Highway and found two people suffering with apparent gunshot wounds. Paramedics transported them to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, where one was pronounced deceased. The other person appears to have non-life threatening injuries at this time.

A third person was transported by an acquaintance to Sentara Leigh Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police have not released any suspect information at this time.
