[ARCHIVED] Triple shooting has left one dead and two others injured

NORFOLK, Va. - Three people where shot Tuesday morning leaving one person dead and two others injured.

Dispatchers were notified of shots heard in the area of North Military Highway just after midnight.

Police arrived to the 400 block of North Military Highway and found two people suffering with apparent gunshot wounds. Paramedics transported them to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, where one was pronounced deceased. The other person appears to have non-life threatening injuries at this time.

A third person was transported by an acquaintance to Sentara Leigh Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police have not released any suspect information at this time.
