[ARCHIVED] Two men hospitalized following afternoon altercation

NORFOLK, Va. - Norfolk police responded to the 4100 block of Heutte Drive this afternoon following a life-threatening assault incident.

At approximately 1:00 p.m., Norfolk dispatchers received a call for service regarding an argument that turned physical in the 4100 block of Heutte Drive. The caller indicated two men were seriously hurt after an argument between several adults turned violent.

When police and paramedics arrived on scene, two men suffering from extensive injuries were located. Both were immediately transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital for treatment.

The preliminary investigation has revealed the injuries were consistent with blunt force trauma. Both men remain hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.
