[ARCHIVED] Man dies at hospital after shooting on W. 29th Street

NORFOLK, Va. – Detectives are investigating after a man was shot to death in the 600 block of W.29th Street Wednesday morning.

Around 4:20 a.m. police received several calls to the intersection of W. 29th Street and Gosnold Avenue for a report of a gunshot victim. When police arrived they found a 33-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds outside in the 600 block of W. 29th Street.

The man taken to the hospital, but died shortly after arriving. His name will not be released until his family has been notified.
