[ARCHIVED] Norfolk 7-Eleven robbed during Hurricane Matthew

NORFOLK, Va. – A man armed with a gun robbed a 7-Eleven on Chesapeake Blvd in Norfolk during Hurricane Matthew Saturday evening.

Detectives say that a man wearing a red hood over his head and armed with a handgun robbed the store in the 3200 block of Chesapeake Blvd around 8:20 p.m.

He is described as a black man around 6-feet tall. He was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt underneath a black jacket with white lettering.

There were no injuries reported.
