Posted on: October 30, 2016[ARCHIVED] Man crashes vehicle into main gate of Naval Station Norfolk
NORFOLK, Va. - The driver of a dark Nissan crashed his vehicle into the main gate of Naval Station Norfolk early this morning.
Shortly after 4:00 a.m. Norfolk police initiated a traffic stop on Hampton Blvd. near Terminal Blvd. The driver of the vehicle then sped away causing officers to loose sight of the car. The driver crashed his vehicle into Gate 1 at Naval Station Norfolk.
Paramedics transported him to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with life threatening injuries. There were no other occupants in the car and no other injuries were reported.
