[ARCHIVED] Three people injured in a shooting on W. 43rd Street

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Three people are recovering at a Norfolk hospital after being shot during a party on West 43rd Street Saturday night.

Shortly before 12:30 a.m. police responded to the 800 block of West 43rd Street for multiple gunshot heard in the area.

When police arrived, they found a man outside suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound.  He was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital for treatment.

While police were investigating at the scene, a man and a woman arrived at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with non-life threatening. 

All three people who were shot are expected to recover.

The investigation reveals that all three people were attending a party at a residence on West 43rd Street when the shooting occurred.
