[ARCHIVED] Three people injured in a shooting on W. 43rd Street


NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Three people are recovering at a Norfolk hospital after being shot during a party on West 43rd Street Saturday night.

Shortly before 12:30 a.m. police responded to the 800 block of West 43rd Street for reports of multiple gunshots heard.

When police arrived, they found a man outside suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound.  He was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital for treatment.

While police were investigating at the scene, a man and a woman arrived at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with non-life threatening gunshot wounds. 

All three people who were shot are expected to recover.

At this time, police have not released any suspect details; however, they encourage anyone with information to call the Norfolk Crime Line at 1(888) LOCK-U-UP.
