NORFOLK, VA. (NPD) – Police are investigating a
shooting Saturday afternoon that has left one man critically injured.
First responders were called to the intersection of East
Little Creek Road and Harriet Drive shortly before 1:20 p.m.
for a report of a shooting.
When police arrived, they found a man in his early forties
suffering from an apparent gunshot wound lying on the sidewalk at the intersection.
He was quickly taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital by paramedics for life
threatening injuries.
Police are searching for a black man in his twenties who was
last seen running away in a blue hooded sweatshirt with grey stripes and blue
jeans.
As police continue to investigate this shooting, they
