[ARCHIVED] Chartway Federal Credit Union in Norfolk Robbed

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Norfolk Police are investigating a bank robbery Wednesday afternoon on Hampton Boulevard.  

According to detectives, a man entered the Chartway Federal Credit Union located at 4702 Hampton Boulevard around 3:45 p.m. and demanded money from a cashier.  

The employee complied and the man fled the location in a burgundy 2012 GMC Arcadia.

The robber is described as a black man in his early 30’s, around 5’5” tall, and weighing roughly 180 pounds.  He was last seen wearing a black jacket, dark colored pants, tan boots, dark sunglasses, and a black knit hat.

There were no injuries reported.
