[ARCHIVED] Norfolk police need help in identifying burglary suspect

NORFOLK, Va. – (NPD) Police need the public’s help in identifying a man suspected of breaking into two Norfolk businesses.

The first burglary occurred to the Beach Bay Food Store located at 9501 First View Street on Feb. 28, 2017.  Police responded to the store around 4 a.m. for a burglary alarm, and when they arrived, the front door had been pried open. 

The second burglary occurred to the ABC Liquor Store located at 159 West Ocean View Avenue on March 7, 2017.  Police responded to the location around 4:30 a.m. for another burglary alarm and when they arrived, the front glass of the business was busted out.  

The man stole several items at each location, and fled prior to police arriving.

As detectives continue to investigate these commercial burglaries, they encourage anyone with information to call the Norfolk Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
