[ARCHIVED] Police investigating a shooting on West 35th Street

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) - Norfolk police are investigating a shooting that occurred on West 35th Street this evening.

Shortly after 4:30 p.m. dispatchers received a call for a person suffering from a gunshot wound. When police arrived they found an adult man outside in the 800 block of West 35th Street suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Paramedics quickly transported him to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with a life threatening injury.

As this shooting is in the preliminary stages of the investigation, detectives ask for anyone with information about this double shooting to call the Norfolk Crime Line at either:
