[ARCHIVED] One person dead, three others wounded during a party

NORFOLK,Va. (NPD) - Police are investigating a shooting incident that has left one person dead and three others wounded during a party in a home.

Shortly before 3:30 a.m. dispatchers received a call for two people possibly suffering from gunshot wounds at the corner of E. Princess Anne Road and Monticello Avenue. When police arrived they found two adult men suffering with serious but non-life threatening gunshot injuries. Paramedics transported the men to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

Moments later, police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Azalea Garden Road for a person suffering from a gunshot wound. When they arrived they discovered a large crowd inside an apartment and an adult man with an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Around 3:35 a.m. an adult woman walked into Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot injury. 

The preliminary investigation has revealed that all four people were shot during a party in the 1500 block of Azalea Garden Road.
