[ARCHIVED] Armed man robs Norfolk 7-Eleven

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – A man armed with a gun robbed a 7-Eleven Saturday morning on Colonial Avenue.

The robbery took place at 1115 Colonial Avenue around 3 a.m. on August 5th, 2017.  The man displayed a gun and demanded money from the clerk. After receiving cash, he fled on foot Southbound on Colonial Avenue.

The incident was caught on surveillance cameras. The employee was the only one inside and was not hurt.

The suspect is described as a black man in his late twenties, around 5 feet 10 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, black hat, black sunglasses, and blue jeans.
