[ARCHIVED] Armed robber steals cash from Dodges Chicken


NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Detectives are investigating an armed robbery to a restaurant in the Glenwood Park section of Norfolk that occurred last Sunday Morning.  

Shortly before 4:45 a.m., police were called to a report of an armed robbery that just occurred to the Dodges Chicken located at 8110 Hampton Boulevard. 

Once there, officers learned that a man entered the restaurant, displayed a gun and demanded money from the clerks.  After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the man fled the location.

There were no injuries reported.

The suspect is described as a black man in his early twenties, with shoulder length dreadlocks. He was last seen wearing a purple T-shirt, and black jeans.
