NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Detectives are investigating a robbery at the Family Dollar on East Bayview Boulevard that occurred Wednesday night.
Police were called to the store located at 1551 East Bayview Boulevard just after 8 p.m.
Detectives say that the suspect approached the clerk, displayed a gun and demanded money from the register. The suspect fled the area on foot and there were no injuries reported.
The suspect is described as a white man with brown and orange hair in his early twenties. He was last seen wearing an olive green hooded sweatshirt, red stocking hat, light colored pants, and one diamond earring.
