NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Norfolk police have identified the victim of a fatal shooting in the 800 block of Cedar Street, Sunday evening.
Just after 5:15 p.m., police were called to Cedar Street for a gunshot disturbance. When officers arrived, they found Antonio I. Parker, 20, inside an apartment suffering from a gunshot wound.
Parker, of the 800 block of Cedar Street, was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital for treatment; however, he died shortly after arriving.
Detectives have not released a motive or suspect description; however, they ask anyone with information to contact the Norfolk Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
