[ARCHIVED] Norfolk police are investigating after a man was found dead inside a home

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Norfolk detectives are investigating the death of an adult man found inside a Norfolk home Wednesday evening.

Shortly before 7:30 p.m. dispatchers received a call for an unresponsive man inside a home in the 1500 block of W. Little Creek Road. When police and fire-rescue arrived, they discovered a 45-year-old man dead inside the residence. 

Detectives are investigating this incident as a homicide but his death has been classified as undetermined at this time. 

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the official cause of death.

The deceased man’s identity will not released until his family has been properly notified.
