Partners with Old Dominion University & Norfolk Public Schools to Provide Parking During Nor’easter
NORFOLK, VA – Due to the tidal flooding expected from the Nor’easter this weekend, the City of Norfolk is opening the York Street parking garage at 6:00 p.m. today through Monday, March 5th at 8:00 a.m. for residents to move their vehicles to dry ground. The garage is located at 215 West York Street. Drivers will take a ticket on entry. The exit gates will be open.
Old Dominion University will open Garages A/B on W. 43rd Street and Garage E at West 49th and Bluestone to the general public 6:00 p.m. today. Vehicles must be removed by Monday morning.
Norfolk Public Schools will open school parking lots to the general public at 6:00 p.m. today. Vehicles must be removed by Monday morning.
