[ARCHIVED] Police searching for suspect in sexual assault inside a Norfolk Walmart

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Norfolk detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted for sexually assaulting an 11-year-old girl.


On February 23, 2018, police were notified about the assault which occurred inside the Walmart located at 7530 Tidewater Drive.

The victim’s parents told detectives that a man walked passed their 11-year-old child and inappropriately touched her.

The suspect is described as a white man in his late 20s to early 30s. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

Anyone with information on the suspect’s identity is encouraged to call the Norfolk Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP or submit a tip through the P3 Tips mobile app.
