NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Detectives are investigating a robbery at the Chanello’s Pizza on West 21st Street that occurred Sunday afternoon.
Police were called to the restaurant located in the 900 block of West 21St Street just around 12:30 p.m.
Detectives say that the suspect approached the clerk, displayed a gun and demanded money from the register. The suspect fled the area on foot and there were no injuries reported.
The suspect is described as a black man around 5 feet 6 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and black shoes with white stripes.
