[ARCHIVED] Armed masked man robs Norfolk 7-Eleven

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Detectives are investigating a robbery at the 7-Eleven on Colonial Avenue that occurred Monday night.    

Police were called to the convenience store located at 1115 Colonial Avenue around 11:40 p.m.

Detectives say that the suspect approached the clerk, displayed a gun and demanded money from the register. The suspect fled the area on foot and there were no injuries reported.

The suspect is described as a black man in his mid to late 20s.  He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, black sneakers, reading glasses, and a black mask covering his face.
