NORFOLK, Va. – Norfolk Police
have arrested Marvin K. Williams, 25, for the shooting that left a juvenile
injured Friday night.
Around 11:52 p.m. police responded to a gunshot disturbance
in the 2500 block of Leo Street. When police arrived, they encountered several
individuals who were inside of a residence that had been struck by gunfire. Shortly
thereafter a juvenile, who was in the area of the shooting, walked into CHKD with a non-life-threatening
gunshot wound to the hand.
As a result of the investigation, Williams, of the 2500
block of Masi Street was arrested and charged with Malicious Wounding,
Attempted Malicious Wounding X 2, Shooting into an occupied building, Use of a
Firearm X 3, and Possession of a firearm by convicted felon.
He is currently being held in the Norfolk City Jail without
bond.
