[ARCHIVED] Norfolk Looking for Individuals Interested in Serving as an Officer of Election

The Norfolk Office of Elections is looking for voters who may be interested in serving as an Officer of Election for the May 1, 2018 General Election.

The Norfolk Office of Elections is looking for voters who may be interested in serving as an Officer of Election for the May 1, 2018 General Election.  Officers of Election serve inside the polls on Election Day.  You must be 18 years of age or older and a registered voter within the state of Virginia to work the polls as an Officer of Election.  There is compensation for volunteering to serve as an Officer of Election.  We need assistance at most of our polling locations in Norfolk
 
If you are interested in volunteering to serve your community as an Officer of Election, you may submit an online application through the Virginia Department of Elections at http://www.elections.virginia.gov/officer-of-elections/, send us an email at vote@norfolk.gov, stop by our office at 810 Union Street (City Hall Building, Room 808), or contact Mrs. Yvonne Wyatt at: 664-4353.  Our office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
