[ARCHIVED] Police need help identifying the man who robbed a convenience store

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Norfolk detectives are hoping someone can help them identify the man who robbed a 7-Eleven.

Shortly after 3:50 this morning, dispatchers received a call for a commercial robbery that had just occurred at the 7-Eleven located at 774 W. Little Creek Road. When police arrived, the employees stated an unknown man entered the store, displayed a gun and demanded money. The clerks complied with his demands and the suspect fled the location prior to police arrival.

The suspect is described as a black man between 5’5 to 5’8. He was last seen wearing a black brimmed hat, a black shawl with tassels, black jacket and black gloves.

There were no injuries reported.
