[ARCHIVED] Four arrested after a man dies following a shooting Monday evening

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Detectives have arrested four people after a man was shot Monday evening and died on Wednesday.

Around 9:40p.m. April 23rd police were dispatched to the 800 block of 35th Street in reference to a gunshot disturbance. When police arrived, they found 38-year-old Lawrence Rondell Williams suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Medics immediately transported Williams to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with serious injuries. On Wednesday, April 25th Williams died at the hospital.

As a result of the investigation, Charles Poff Jr., 19, Trevon Myricks, 25, Jessie Kirby Jr., 18, and one juvenile have been arrested and charged with 2nd degree murder, conspiracy to commit robbery, attempted robbery as well as firearms related charges. 

Police have not released any other details surrounding this investigation.
