[ARCHIVED] Wifi Wherever You Go in Norfolk

Check out a hotspot, connect at City Hall, Town Point Park or MacArthur Square

NORFOLK, VA –  Stay connected wherever you are in Norfolk!  Norfolk Public Library (NPL) now offers mobile hotspots covered by Sprint 4G LTE network for patrons to check out with their library card.

The ZTE Warp Connect mobile hotspot can connect up to 10 devices simultaneously.  Patrons can check out a mobile hotspot for up to three weeks at a time with the option for two renewals, if there are no other patron holds.  The borrower is responsible for all items included with the hotspot, including the charging cord, charger and carrying case. If any of the items are damaged or lost, the borrower will be charged. The device is filtered so that inappropriate content may not be reached.

The public can connect to free WiFi at City Hall, MacArthur Square, Town Point Park and other areas along the waterfront.
