
NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Norfolk detectives have charged a man for robbing two businesses in two days.
Norfolk and Virginia Beach Robbery and Fugitive Detectives arrested Edward D. Speller, 51, of the 1500 block of Kingston Avenue, Tuesday afternoon.
Speller has been charged with two counts of robbery and one count of use a firearm in the commission of a felony.
The robberies occurred on May 8 at the CVS, 972 East Little Creek Road in Norfolk, and May 9 at the Walgreens, 856 South Military Highway in Virginia Beach.
No injuries were reported during the robberies.
Speller is currently being held in the Norfolk City Jail without bond.
